Files and Formats

What you can upload

MP3, WAV, FLAC, M4A, AAC, or OGG files, up to 50 MB and 10 minutes each.

The file has to be real audio in one of these formats. A file of another kind that was only renamed is refused.

What you get back

Two tracks: the vocals and the instrumental. You can play each in your browser and download each one.

The tracks are 320 kbps MP3 files with Standard and FLAC files with Pro.

Videos

The Video Vocal Remover takes MP4, MOV, or WebM files, up to 200 MB and 10 minutes each. The video needs a sound track.

You choose what to remove, the vocals or the background music, and get the same video back with its sound replaced, in the format you uploaded. The picture is left as it is.

Removing the background music keeps every voice: when the music has a singer, the singing stays along with the speech.

You also get the vocals and the instrumental as two audio tracks, as for a song.

Long files

A song or a video can be up to 10 minutes long. A longer one is refused before it uses a free separation or any credits.

With Pro, one that is longer than 5 minutes uses more credits: 1 credit for a song or video up to 5 minutes long, 2 credits for a longer one.

Longer songs take longer. A separation that takes too long is stopped; it is not counted as a free separation and the credits it used are returned, and you can try again.

Several files at once

You can have 2 separations in progress at the same time, songs and videos together.
